Editorial Content Marketing
Editorial content marketing is the long-term creation and distribution of useful, relevant content for a defined audience. Its purpose is to inform, engage or persuade by providing value rather than relying solely on promotional messages.
A content strategy connects publications to clearly defined objectives, audiences and themes. It helps teams choose the right topics, plan production, maintain consistency over time and avoid accumulating content with no clear purpose.
It is relevant whenever your organisation has audiences to inform, persuade, support or retain. The strategy, formats and channels should nevertheless be adapted to your business, resources, audience decision cycle and intended outcomes.
Depending on the objectives, a content strategy can contribute to greater visibility, higher-quality traffic, better understanding of an offer, engagement, trust, demand generation or retention. It should be assessed using metrics suited to the objectives and channels involved.
There is no universal timeframe. Some signals, such as engagement or publishing consistency, may appear quickly, while organic visibility, brand awareness and contribution to acquisition generally build over time. Results depend on factors such as your starting point, industry, publishing frequency, channels and execution quality.
About ContentCrea
ContentCrea is an editorial management system that connects an organisation’s context, personas, strategy, plans, topics, briefs, production and social variations in one environment. Its purpose is not simply to generate content, but to organise consistent, manageable editorial production over time.
ContentCrea is designed for organisations and users with different levels of content maturity: freelancers, small and medium-sized businesses, bloggers, marketers, marketing and communications leaders, teams and agencies. Their common need is to structure, plan and produce content more consistently without rebuilding the context for every publication.
A content generator primarily answers a one-off request. ContentCrea places generation within a broader system that includes organisational context, editorial guidelines, personas, objectives, plans, themes, topics, scheduling, briefs and relationships between content. AI operates inside this framework through specialised workflows.
Yes, whenever an organisation needs to structure and produce content. ContentCrea relies on the organisation’s context, personas, editorial rules and supplied information. In highly specialised or regulated fields, subject-matter expertise and human validation remain essential.
No. ContentCrea automates and structures a significant part of editorial work, but it does not replace subject-matter expertise, editorial decisions or final approval. The platform is designed to support and orchestrate the work, not remove human responsibility.
ContentCrea uses a supervised agentic approach rather than operating as a fully autonomous agent. The platform orchestrates several stages of editorial work using your organisation’s context, audiences and strategy while keeping users involved at key decision and approval points.
A set of prompts can produce good one-off results, but it usually requires rebuilding context, rules and relationships between content each time. ContentCrea keeps that framework within the application, structures the workflow stages and connects strategy, plans, topics, briefs and production in one system.
ContentCrea Features
ContentCrea can structure your editorial identity and guidelines, create personas, generate plans with themes, topics, keywords and scheduling, prepare briefs, produce different content formats, generate associated titles and metadata, and create social media variations.
You can enter your own information or use ContentCrea to help structure it from the data you provide about your organisation and audiences. These elements then become reusable context for plans, briefs and content.
Yes. You can reuse existing elements such as your editorial guidelines, personas, objectives and thematic structure as the framework for ContentCrea. Automated bulk migration and rationalisation of a complete content library are a separate scope and should not be confused with this initial configuration.
The schedule is populated from editorial plans and their topics. You can adjust dates, add or remove content and track progress. It acts as the operational roadmap between the strategy defined in the plan and actual production.
Yes. You can adjust the topic, enrich the brief, modify the structure or edit the generated content directly. ContentCrea provides a framework and assistance, while the final version remains editable and under your control.
Yes. ContentCrea can generate social media variations consistent with the source content, persona and editorial context, including for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and X.
Content remains connected to its plan, theme, persona, funnel stage, keywords and, where applicable, pillar/cluster relationships. This structure makes it possible to develop an editorial territory over time instead of producing a series of isolated pieces.
ContentCrea already generates social media variations. Direct publishing and scheduling features are being rolled out progressively, so availability depends on the connectors enabled in your environment.
Collaboration & Project Management
Yes. You can invite multiple users depending on your plan and assign access according to their role in the editorial workflow. This allows internal and external contributors to collaborate without sharing the same account.
ContentCrea can organise review and approval according to user roles. Authorised users can intervene before publication to request changes or approve the selected version.
Yes. Content has statuses and is linked to the production schedule, making it possible to view progress and deadlines. Alert and notification features are evolving, so the FAQ should only mention alerts that are actually active in the released version.
Artificial Intelligence & Quality
Information defined at organisation level, including positioning, voice, tone, editorial rules and personas, is reused as context throughout generation workflows. It therefore does not need to be re-entered for every new piece of content.
Yes. You can edit content directly and use AI assistance where useful. Final approval remains under your control.
Quality is addressed at several levels: organisational context, persona, topic, brief, structure, drafting, titles and metadata, followed by human review. This is designed to produce better-framed and more consistent content than isolated generation. Final quality also depends on the information supplied, the topic, the level of expertise required and human validation.
ContentCrea reuses the data and context stored for your organisation to support its workflows. This use of context should not be confused with automatically training the model on all of your content. The platform may rely on third-party AI providers for certain operations, in accordance with the terms applicable to the service.
